SAMMin is an electronic ledger application featuring five interconnected modules: an overview of income and expenses, ledger viewing, transaction entry, report generation, and version archiving. Users can record income, expenses, transfers, and refunds, split amounts across categories, and navigate directly to the relevant ledger page after saving. Financial fluctuations and category breakdowns are visualized through bar charts, line graphs, and donut charts. A dedicated layout engine calculates column widths, row heights, and pagination based on text size, automatically handling multi-line notes, repeating headers, subtotal placement, and content flow across pages. Totals are fully traceable to the original transactions, ensuring accuracy and preventing double-counting. Before exporting, the application performs a comprehensive check of financial figures, data completeness, and page boundaries, then generates a local PDF. Snapshots preserve the original data, statistical parameters, and layout, allowing users to compare different versions—identifying added, modified, or deleted entries and the specific ledger pages affected. All data remains stored locally on the user's device.
